You should make this bread. Now. Well, 5-minutes ago really. It’s that good! This is simple to make and ridiculously delicious. Although with cheese and bacon and butter, how could it not be amazing?!

It is super easy to make and would be just as good paired with soup as it would be as part of a brunch spread. I will worn you, it’s not the prettiest dish ever, but the flavor will well compensate for that. I promise you that! Now, as I previously advised, run to the kitchen and make this!

Bacon and Vegetable Bread (adapted from Easy Gourmet)

1 can biscuits

3 Tbs butter, melted

4 Tbs parmesan

½ onion, minced

½ bell pepper, minced

4 cloves garlic, minced

4 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped

 

Per heat the oven to 375°.

Over medium high heat sauté the onion, pepper, and garlic. Once cooked to soft, mix together the veggies and bacon.

Slice the biscuits into quarters, toss with butter and parmesan. Drop half the biscuit pieces into a loaf pan, pour the veggie and bacon mixture over the layer, and top with the remaining biscuits.

Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until it looks well browned.

Serve warm (and enjoy!).
